Description
It is the statue of the famous Tamil poet Valluvar, who is known for his ancient Tamil work called Thirukkural. The construction of the statue commenced in the year 1990 by an Indian sculptor called V. Ganapati Sthapati and was inaugurated by M. Karunanidhi in the year 2000.
